Every year around this time, worship leaders and keys players start asking the same question: 

What are we going to do for Christmas this year?

And every year, to help, we release a Christmas themed keys video, but I feel like I've yet to crack to code on how to do this well. So far I've tried:

• multi-part video series
• real sleigh bells
• santa hats
• super niche sound design

And after all of that, I've come to this conclusion:

Christmas is weird...

Once a year you have to:

• learn all new songs
• play them one time (and then never again)
• figure out different chords,
• other crazy stuff (like sending your drummer down a suspended cable wire from the top of the sanctuary balcony..)

Before you think I'm complaining, I truly love Christmas music! But goodness, it can be stressful. That’s why we put together this year’s Christmas Keys Update for Sunday Keys. And this new video that will walk your through the Sounds that make a song sound 'like Christmas.' Spoiler- it doesn't even need to be a 'Christmas song,' You can actually apply the tips you learn from this video, to make popular songs like 'Holy Forever,' fit seamlessly into a Christmas service. This video is a great way to get a taste of the 2025 November Sunday Keys Sound Library update. It's jam-packed with a wide variety of Christmas-themed Sounds and Patches. This marks three years in a row we've been able to put out an update focused on helping you cover common Christmas vibes and it's one of the reasons I love that we're able to put new stuff in SK every month: you'll always have new inspiration headed your way.
