If you grew up playing classical piano, stepping into a modern worship environment can feel… strange.

You might be asked to play a song 'like the recording,' but all you hear is pads and synth stuff. You have incredible knowledge on Piano, but might feel limited in your knowledge of sound design. This is one of the most common challenges we hear from new church keys players, how do you translate years of classical technique into a style that fits into a modern worship team context?

To help, we just released a new video, covering ways to approach modern worship keys coming from a classical training background. You'll learn some beginner friendly sound design tips, and some practical examples of what to play, both classically, and with a more modern feel.
