When I first started leading worship,
I often found my keys volunteers struggling-
Constantly running into limitations of hardware keyboards.
Any of these sound familiar?
Outdated or cheesy sounds
Poor workflows - needing to remember which 3 buttons to press at the same time to switch to a pad sound...
Limited options to layer sounds for a full mix
We found ways to make things work, but I never got back the hours spent each week finding presets, dialing things in.
Switching to a software rig running MainStage helped, but that still required a huge time commitment. And it felt less like you were playing keys and more like you were programming software. Not very inspiring to gifted piano players volunteering their time each week.
So we started dreaming - what would a simple but powerful keys software look like?
Approachable for volunteers of all ages and skill levels,
Designed for the songs churches play each week,
And reliable enough to replace a hardware keyboard?
This idea is what led to the Sunday Keys App, now trusted by thousands of churches every weekend. We've been adding a lot of features lately, and just finished putting together what we're calling the "Quick Start Guide."
You'll get a condensed look at the Sunday Keys App, perfect if you need a recap of the latest features or if you're just getting started with the App at your church. Check out the video below!
