When you’re building Keys Patches for worship, it’s easy to reach for Sounds that get bigger the harder you play.
Dig in and things get brighter, louder, and more intense.
But over time, I've found that can actually make things difficult in some cases, it's harder to control dynamics, harder to layer other sounds in, and easy to get lost in the mix as soon as you remove those big Sounds.
That’s why lately I’ve been leaning more and more into Soft Sounds.
Intentionally designed sounds that don’t suddenly explode when you dig in or move the mod wheel. Instead, these provide a reliable foundation, staying simple and predictable, even as you play more.
Check out the video below and hear this brand-new collection of soft leads, arps, and sequences we just added to Sunday Keys! You'll learn how to build worship patches that Sound great, and allow you to add intensity without losing control.
I would love to see Sunday Keys operate as a DAW plug in! Right now I run SK in the background and connect to Logic Pro via VB Cable… it.works, but a plug in would be SO much more flexible. Imagine several instances running… a lush Piano, a warm pad… maybe a nice bass patch, all controlled independently via midi regions. It would be MAGNIFICENT!
Would love to have the ability to change the colors of the channel strips
