More synth plugins are added to the App store nearly every day, but how can you know what plugins sound good and avoid paying for a cheesy synth that you'll never end up using- or even worse, one that doesn't work reliably?
Well, ever since we added support for 3rd party instrument plugins inside the Sunday Keys App, we've been testing out a ton of different synth, piano, even organ plugins on the App store. And we did find a few that sound incredible- and are simple to use. Check out the video for some of the best plugins to use for an iPad worship keys rig.
Plugins: King of Digital, TAL-U-NO-LX, KingB Organ, Moog Model D, Pianoteq 8, Korg iM1

Enjoyed listening to your take on sampled and modeled apps for iPad and MacBooks. There are a couple other options you may like to test that round out quality sounds in more traditional styles for church musicians that are looking for realism in the sounds they choose.
Pure synth by Midiculious has a suite of options beyond the free install. The platinum full version is great for rounding out orchestral and misc sounds to begin.
Also great for solo instruments is SWAM
Audio modeling. It’s on parr with Pianoteq. Modeled saxes and solo strings (violin, viola, cello, brass woodwinds etc). They nail these instruments so well that my Spitfire and Native Instruments library is usually sitting silent. Great for use live or studio.
