It’s always been technically possible to run a backing track in MainStage but the amount of work needed to set it up has kept most from implementing them.
That’s why we created Live Tracks, a feature-rich expansion module for our best-selling Sunday Keys template that adds a full sixteen channel backing track playback system to your Sunday Keys rig.
With Live Tracks it’s easy to dial in your tracks mix right alongside your keys patches with total flexibility thanks to dynamic arrangement jumps, on the fly key and tempo changes, and the ability to loop or fade out sections on the fly.
The best part? With Live Tracks you get all these features added to your Sunday Keys rig without sacrificing any of the features and functionality you love. Live Tracks is fully compatible with Patch Builder, Tonic, every other feature of Sunday Keys and even our brand new Live Mixer expansion.
Live Tracks is simple to install and when you purchase you’ll get access to simple video tutorials that teach you how to quickly prep your tracks and add location markers in Logic Pro X, how to bounce your stems out of Logic, and how to quickly and easily get them loaded into Live Tracks for your next performance.
You can use Live Tracks to play stems you create yourself or tracks you’ve purchased online. As long as the tracks are audio files, you can convert them to .AIF or .CAF format and use them in Live Tracks!
The Sunday Keys MainStage Template is required to use Live Tracks.
The dynamic arrangement, tempo and pitch sync features in Live Tracks require your stems be bounced as .AIF or .CAF files from Logic Pro X (currently available from Apple on a 90 day free trial).
These patches were custom sampled from both analog synths and a certain classic FM synthesizer through studio quality pre-amps and effects, then combined with creative sampling and sound design techniques to bring you fresh lead sounds that are ready for your next live performance.
