Keys players- what a time to be alive! Over the last 10-15 years the electric guitar has been the dominant voice in the vast majority of worship music, but over the last few years there has been a huge shift in responsibilities with us keys folks now being asked to fill more prominent spaces in song arrangements.
With this newfound sonic permission comes a unique set of challenges.
As a guitarist and keyboard player, David has found it useful to consider some of the big ideas that have defined the guitar's role in modern worship music so far and transpose those concepts to the keyboard.
