You've probably seen one of those vintage plastic keyboards before on Facebook Marketplace or your neighbor's garage sale.
If you've attempted to play one, you usually end up with cheesy, pretty much unusable sounds.
And then I found this...
It's the Casio MT-46, released in 1982 complete with a built-in speaker and 8 total presets. It fits the vintage, plastic, cheesy vibe, but actually uses square-wave synthesis.
Using the built-in speaker- I wasn't very impressed.
But you know what surprised me?
I found that if you plug into the line out... it has this incredibly full, powerful Sound.
Check out the video to see what I mean.
If you search 'MT-46' in the Sunday Keys App Sound browser, you'll find some inspiring Sounds we sampled from this tiny plastic keyboard, hope you enjoy these Sounds as much as I do!
You do great work and have developed a fantastic app.
