Hey friends, one of the things I get asked about the most often is "where do you begin when you're designing a song specific patch from the ground up?"
It's a great question and my process has changed a lot from when I was first getting started in MainStage. I remember that my first song patch took me over 20 hours to complete! Thankfully it doesn't take that long anymore.
I had the chance to sit down with Ryan King, the keyboard instructor from Worship Artistry. We talked about my creative process, current trends in worship music, and how you can avoid feeling robotic when you're playing precise parts.
