Introducing Sunday Keys 2021
This groundbreaking update is focused on solving some of the fundamental weak spots of the worship keys experience for MainStage and Ableton Live users. The level of sound quality, expression, and functionality in Sunday Keys has risen to a whole new level, here's how:
'Sunday Instruments' You Won't Find Anywhere Else
At the very heart of Sunday Keys 2021 are brand new, custom-sampled instruments built specifically for Sunday Keys that you won't find in MainStage or Ableton Live's built-in sounds!
The "Sunday Grand" is a beautiful instrument, sampled note for note from a vintage Steinway grand. Sunday Grand features true pedal up and down samples at five velocity layers each, two round robins, and detailed release samples for an incredibly expressive and responsive playing experience.
The "Sunday Upright" brings the classic "perfectly imperfect" sound of a warm, dark upright piano to your keys rig. Featuring a blend of hammer, player, and room mic perspectives for just the right amount of attack, balanced with a mellow, subdued sustain- the perfect counter-point to the Sunday Grand.
A full suite of "Sunday Strings" patches featuring samples of a raw, intimate string ensemble bring inspiring new string sounds to Sunday Keys. Three articulations are available (Swell, Vibrato, and No Vibrato) to cover all the modern worship strings sounds you need.
The "Sunday Dulcimer" features three courses of samples captured from a real hammered dulcimer full of body, tack, and harmonic resonance. This instrument can both stand out on top for bright lead parts and lend extra character and warmth to a worship piano sound.
These new instruments offer a powerful upgrade in sound quality over MainStage and Ableton Live's factory sound libraries without the need to invest in third party plugins, all directly integrated into Sunday Keys itself.
Two New Sound Categories For Patch Builder
Two new categories in Patch Builder called Live Sequences and Live Grooves make larger than life performances easier than ever!
Live Sequences trigger complex melodic sequences from a single bass note press. Sunday Keys' Patch Builder includes a wide variety of Live Sequences suited for any song or genre, available in both MainStage and Ableton Live versions.
Live Grooves bring a new, rhythmic element to your layered worship patches. In MainStage your bass note presses can trigger a Live Groove on demand that stays locked in as you play while in Ableton Live you're able to dynamically trigger Live Grooves as loops in your layered patches.
Brand New Patches and Features for Ableton Users:
Sunday Keys 2021 for Ableton Live features a leaner list of both updated classic patches and newly created layered worship patches (35 total), designed to work within the strengths of Ableton Live without sacrificing performance.
The "Easy Chord" feature is now available in Sunday Keys for Ableton Live and we've expanded the sound library to stand right alongside the MainStage version while improving performance and reducing CPU load!
