At the end of each year as we plan out the next one I like to take the opportunity to evaluate the way I have my home studio set up, the basic functionality of it and the gear I'm using alike.

Doing this with an eye towards the next year helps keep me from impulse buying gear but also provides an exciting boost of momentum as changes are made that spark new ideas and improve workflows.
