Ever wondered what goes into the process of composing keys parts for a live worship album?

As worship keys players we spend our practice at home studying, internalizing, and emulating what goes into that production. But if you don't understand the guiding principles behind those decisions you're missing out on a huge opportunity.

The keys parts on worship albums you love aren't created in a vacuum.

There's countless years of experience, inspiration, and production expertise that goes into the notes and sounds that actually make it to the final masters from your favorite worship bands. We wanted to pull back the curtain and give you direct insight into what this process looks like and we knew just who to sync up with-

New Life Worship released an amazing live worship album a couple months ago and our good friend Seth Putnam played keys for the live recording.

Seth Putnam is a Worship Pastor at New Life Church in Colorado Springs, home of New Life Worship. He's an amazing keys player with an awesome heart for ministry.

Seth breaks down the keys riffs in the song "There is a Savior" by New Life Worship.
