There's one thing about prepping for worship that I HATE
It's truly terrible.
So much so that in all but the most extraordinary of contexts I've always just said 'skip it'.
I'm talking about automation.
You know, programming your lights, slides, transitions, all to be in sync. You press a button and away we go!
But here is the truth: it's a big hassle to setup, it takes a ton of time each week... like... it can take multiple hours, and it's very inflexible. Better not change your mind during soundcheck!
and yet... if you can get to a state where the automation is dialed in... and your keys parts, mixes, etc just magically unfold before you as you keep both hands on the keyboard..
incredible.
So we started working on a way to make automation easy. Unlocking all the power and carefree performance benefits- without requiring hours of manually writing MIDI CC automation into a timeline by hand. The ability to program all your Patch changes and Snapshots in advance... So you focus on playing the parts, and being present in the moment.
And I'm excited to say, we came up with a workflow that reduced the required programming time from an hour or more per setlist, down to just a couple minutes. Check out the video below to see how easy it is!
This new easy automation is possible all thanks to the Loop Connect ecosystem, designed to simplify your worship planning and unlock powerful, connected live performances across a connected set of solutions. In this case, direct, bi-directional communication directly between Prime and Sunday Keys to unlock ultra-simple, streamlined automation.

When I installed the update with the Loop Connect, I got an interference, sound gets choppy, it does not happen regularly, I’m currently troubleshooting to find what triggers this. But prior to the update, it’s all good and smooth, no choppy sounds. I hope you can fix the issue, it happened on the anniversary celebration of our Church, it was a tense moment, I have to switch to another keyboard (the one that does not use Sunday Keys).
