Troubleshooting:

Audio issues

Experiencing audio drop outs, pops, or crackles?

Open Ableton Audio Preferences and try increasing your Buffer Size. For most users a Buffer Size of 1024 or greater will give good results. Lower Buffers will increase CPU usage and issues while Higher Buffers will reduce CPU usage but also increase latency.

You can also ensure your In/Out Sample Rate is set to 44100 or 48000 as higher sample rates unnecessarily use more CPU resources.

Setting “Default SR & Pitch Conversion” to “Normal” can also reduce CPU usage.

Controller Issues

Sustain pedal firing the "Smashed Grand" instrument clip in Track 1?

Open Ableton Midi Preferences and set "Remote" to "Off" for your Midi Keyboard.
